Hi guys,
I'm happy to announce that we are ready to begin the latest phase of Try The Tech!
What is Try The Tech?
Try The Tech is where the O2 community team loan out a range of mobile handsets, devices and accessories to community members for a few weeks. This gives participants the chance to get hands on experience of using the device or accessory for a couple of weeks so they can get a proper feel for it and write a review for the benefit of other community members.
You can check out some of the fantastic reviews from the last phase by clicking the links below. We also have a new area dedicated to Try The Tech Reviews where you can see the reviews in the blog section.

How do I get involved?
If you wish to participate in Try The Tech all you need to do chose the device or accessory you want to test and send me a private message. Obviously some devices will be more popular then others so I would advise selecting a second preference in case the device your interested in has already been requested.
What are the rules?
We've tried to keep the rules as simple as possible but there are a few things you should be aware of if you want to take part.
For a more detailed explanation of Try The Tech and most importantly to view the terms and conditions of this program please click here.
Please note: This is a popular activity and we are always inundated with applicants, so please let me know asap if you are interested. We also expect high-quality, well-written reviews as a part of this activity. The reviews above are good ones to take inspiration from in terms of structure and content.
As always if you have any questions please ask!

I must admit @Martin-O2 the devices on offer are a bit old now. We have had magnificent reviews done by others (not on TTT) and they should be put on the Knowledge Base asap. These additional reviews add a lot to the community....

There comes a point, and I'm not knocking TTT at all, it's been a great success, but we are in danger of too much repetition with reviews. OK we are all different and people can have different opinions about different devices but for variety and for the benefit of people wanting to buy a new phone through o2, the range needs to include the latest phones available through the o2 shop.

Hi guys,
Totally get the points here. We'll do our best to get some newer devices to test as part of TTT, but wanted to continue to offer what we have anyway. Our accessories available here fit with some current devices too. With regards to repetition of reviews; The more reviews, the more advice one can get about a device, so that's a good thing in our view

Yep, awesome.
On a more serious note, I really don't think 2 weeks is long enough to test a device in honesty. You really need a month....well I did
