Got a text message telling me a voucher is about to expire.  Been on myo2, can't see any voucher.  rang 202 and they can't tell me without some invrstigation what the voucher is for or how to access it.  I had a problem with an airtime plan for a watch last month and I was told I would get one months money back on that plan as I couldn't use it.  The voucher might be for that but how do you see what it is and claim it?  O2 my experience with you has been terrible to say the least.

@Richard221

You need to check MyO2  http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2

Look under billing.

Or persevere with O2

You should contact the sales team as they may be able to help –  Call them on 0800 081 0255 OR message them on Social Media  -on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)

No help, their computer system is hopeless.  You would think that if I have a voucher it would show on my account and that they could tell me what it is for and how to redeem it.  Their advisors know nothing.  I'm amazed how useless they are.  When you ring up with a problem after waiting 30 minutes plus to get through and your problem isn't on any of their scripts they pass you onto someone else and wait in another queue for another 30 mins only to be told they will investigate and call me back hours later.  I only want to redeem a voucher which they told me I have and which expires soon.  How hard can it be?  Utterly useless.

I checked with all your suggestions. It wasn’t a spam message. They just couldn’t tell me.

In that case, I suggest that you lodge a complaint :-

How to Complain | Help | O2

https://www.o2.co.uk/how-to-complain

Customer+Complaints+code+250523.pdf (o2.co.uk)

https://www.o2.co.uk/documents/456036/4246828/Customer+Complaints+code+250523.pdf

There is an eight week turnaround for complaints but you are not in a rush. You just want a complaints' handler to examine your account, to tell you whether the message that you received was spam or not, and if it was genuine, to tell you how to redeem the voucher.

You'll also need them to extend the time-limit as a gesture of goodwill given O2's failure to help you to date.
