Hi @Anonymous
Have you checked the data usage in your phones settings or via MyO2?
Either way if you are disputing your usage you need to contact O2 http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

Similar experience this month for me except it all seems to happen in one day ... 740Mb of data disappear in one day against my usual usage of about 30Mb. Nothing springs to mind as to why that should be. (iPhone 5S)

Hi @Anonymous
Thats a vast amount of data used...and not sure why it would happen in one day? I know it's likely be apps updating in the background for some of it. Make sure your mobile data is switched off, and only turn it on when you need it. Update any apps you have over WiFi, if you can. I believe the iPhone switches itself to mobile data when the phone is asleep to supposedly save battery life.
Location services use data as does Siri....
Maybe iPhone users may have more info?.....
Either way if you are adamant the data usage figure is wrong you need to speak to CS
