Just arrived in Spain. Partner receives a text from her network Three to let her know that her calls, texts and data are provided at no extra cost. I receive a text from O2 saying that it's 50p a call and £1.99 a day for data.

O2, you're being left behind on international charges.

Yes, that is correct and the reason why I have a Three sim for when I travel to certain countries.

Me too @MI5 I'd never even switch my O2 phone on whilst abroad! I've seen way too many "arghhhh, why's my bill so high" threads

My philosophy. ..buy sim free phones and use local sim cards. Never pay roaming charges these days.
