What good is monthly data when it doesn't connect - still have to find a wifi connection or I go dizzy looking at the circle burling round ?????

I mainly use Wifi to connect to data as its a far cheaper option. If you want to connect via Mobile data then switch Wifi off in your phone settings @Anonymous

Pay monthly -have tried wifi on and off -used to be fine once monthly data arrived -if a bit slow don't know whats changed -same location ?

Reset the phone or try texting ACTIVE to 2020. Save the settings and reboot the phone.

No idea....unless you have used all your data allowance @Anonymous? I do know that when out and about with no WiFi available I turn wifi off because the phone will try to find it.  It connects much more quickly then just via Mobile Data

Can be frustrating when no wifi and have to use data even when plenty left -may as well not have ..no matter what location ..

Might also be connected to the network issue seen today across all areas.
