Im starting to get annoyed. I suffer from extreme anxiety and am being forced to make a call to cancel my contract. This is disgusting and bordering discrimination. I have tried to find many work arounds and cannot.

@Doganru
All the ways to cancel can be found here Guide: Cancelling Your Contract
You can request a STAC Code and pass it on to your new provided which will allow the contract to be cancelled without speaking to someone.. Guide: How to get your PAC [June 2021 Update]

be aware if you use a STAC code you will lose your phone number! A PAC will allow you to transfer your number to someone else and will terminate the contract.
This is what I did to leave O2.
1) I sent an SMS to 65075 with the text: PAC
2) I received an SMS from 65075 with my PAC code, its expiry date, and the fact i wouldnt need to pay anything to use it (you may have a termination fee if you are in contract, the PAC reply will tell you)
3) I gave this PAC to my new provider (via a web form on their website).
4) two days later my new provider was up and running with my "old" number. O2 contract ceased at this time.
No phone calls involved.
(I then went off to file a complaint with O2 because they charged me my full contract, that complaint was upheld today - that is a different story of course!)
