When i try to connect to web via Connection Manager i get an error- EMMSN.exe and has to close programme. Any help would be great.

If it works ok on another pc, it suggests the fault is with the laptop, corrupt registry files for example.

 

If you have the CDs you could try a repair install.

I don't understand what I'm supposed to do. Have tried running the PC scan but I still get the EMMSN.exe error and i can't connect to internet via Connection Manager.

has the file been corrupted uninstall and reinstall the connection manager

uninstalled then reinstalled connection manager but still getting error. my laptop sees the dongle and says its installed & ready for use but the light on the dongle is flashing blue every 4-5 secs. Cant find what this represents.

If this has happened recently you could try using System Restore to set the pc back to a time when it was ok.

Had previously set it up on a desktop computer which although connected,was far too slow. Was given a laptop 2nd hand and this is the first I've tried to set up/use the dongle so system restore wouldn't apply I think.

http://bit.ly/VgfSz6 has the software and the manual on the other tab but it has found but cannot connect to a 3G signal has the sim got credit on it?
