Mobile Phone Repair Tacking NOT WORKING.

Anonymous
Not applicable

I have been onto 2 different websites for mobile phone repair tracking, and neither of them will work. The first one says that the security text I am writing is wrong every time I enter it (and I have tried several different codes now) and the other link I found says that it can't find my details!

I have a tracking number, and o2 sent me an email link to where I could check this information.

It is useless to me because nothing will work.

Anyone else having a similar issue?

Ange

Hi

If the O2 high street store is local I'd be popping in to enquire if it indeed was still in the shop and why.

They must have certain collection dates ! But you should have been advised as so if that's the case.

Maybe one of our site management can feedback the website issues back up the chain.

According to my local store, they have had to send it to somewhere other than an o2 repair place? To some specialist, or something like that. That's what the lady on the phone said anyway.

It's just kind of added to the frustration of the original problem. And now I guess I will have to wait longer to get my Blackberry back when the time scale given to me was 7 days, maybe less if I'm lucky.

I guess anyone who has had to have a 'loan phone' in the past will understand! slight_smile

Thanks.

The loan phones are usually very basic and always feel 'borrowed' so yes I know what you mean. Let's hope the phone is repaired as soon as possible.

When entering details into the repair tracking website (use link on email and nothing else) make sure you type your name exactly as shown on the email.
My name is slightly wrong on my account and the repair tracking only worked with the misspelled account name.

I don't think it has anything to with how I'm typing my name in. If you wish to look at the website o2 emailed to me ?

I only have to put in my surname, tracking number and then copy the security text into the security image box, which is where the problem lies. No matter how many times I try or refresh the image, it is never right according to what I type in the box.

When I hover the pointer over the security code I get a completely different code popping up. Most strange but possibly where the problem lies? I'm using Thumbnail Zoom Plus 3.1 as an add on to Firefox.
