A true great amongst Hollywood has passed, scoring many of the greatest films seen on screen and one of the immediate names i think of when discussing movie composers.
He will be truly missed.

I hadn't even heard of this awful news @viridis A tragic loss. He composed some brilliant film scores

Very sad to read about this on the news app. Never good when someone passes who has given not to millions of people but even more so when it's the result of a tragedy.
