Headline : iOS 8.1 brings back the option to switch to 2G, 3G or LTE

Excerpt from the Link "The good news is that Apple is indeed listening to feedback and complaints, as iOS 8.1 which was seeded to developers two days back, will give users the option to either select LTE, 3G or 2G, which should address these concerns."

My Thoughts :

Fingers crossed this toggle is returned for Uk users too in the iOS 8.1 Update.

We also need to roll all these threads together - There's about 3 running now all on the 3g toggle......

For once I didn't start the duplicate threads Bouncy

I read Chris' post from earlier and it kind of contradicts what O2 have told me on Twitter - or have I read it wrong? Chris is saying that it is not possible to have the option, but on Twitter I was told that it is up to Apple to implement the option?

I interpreted what Chris said to mean that it is not possible to toggle the network selection anymore even with an update from Apple and O2?
