Hi all. New poster. I have an I phone 6. Had for 3 months. Have had a problem for few weeks, seems to be happening more and I am getting annoyed. Phone is on with network, then out of the blue get a text alert saying someone has tried to call me! Once it happened when my friends came over and rang me once, went to voice mail, I got a text alert and then called me 2 mins later and the phone rang. The phone was not moved at all! Tonight I was on Internet and again out of blue got a text alert. Again had reception etc... What's goin on!!!

Hi @Anonymous Welcome to the forum

Does this issue occur in different locations or just when you are at home?

Have you tried your sim in another phone to see if you still get the problem?

Have a look at this self help guide http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Pay-Monthly-and-Pay-Go/Self-help-guide-Is-the-network-down-for-me-or-everyone/m-p/593752#M59833 It will help to decide whether its a sim, device, or network fault.

You could also check your network status here http://status.o2.co.uk/

Check status.o2.co.uk to see if there are any network issues in your area.

Could also be do not disturb mode. Just head to settings and make sure it is off - a quick indication is a crescent moon symbol to the to top right of the device in the status bar.

It is usually a network congestion issue which probably won't be reported on the status checker, but to eliminate another common problem, pop into an O2 shop and ask them to do you a sim swap.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
