It's 8pm and still no coverage! Not that happy about paying a bill when service is clearly not meeting the customers (me) needs!

T&C's don't guarantee 100% uninterrupted service unfortunately - No network does.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Totally agree!  I'm self employed and work weekends/bank holidays and I have undoubtedly had clients trying to call me today!  Cannot find a number to call them on either as apparently they close at 4p.m. on a Bank Holiday !  Not very happy and will be certainly calling them tomorrow ........ on my landline if my mobile not working .......... which will cost me even more money .............  Why does their network coverage status on their website say 'it's all working fine' when clearly it is not!!

Because it is too widespread and I expect some staff will be off for the Bank Holiday.

I would imagine the problems are at a 'core' level  and not at individual masts - so the coverage checker probably is telling the truth, it's working fine there - the problem is elsewhere.

Because it was a nationwide outage...it was better to get staff in and get it sorted...

It's a server issue.
