Solved: Apple Watch help

So my partner is an o2 customer too. If she buys an Apple Watch and pays for device and airtime, but doesn’t connect it to her phone, can I connect it to mine(also an o2 customer ) and me just buy an airtime plan for it connected to my number ?

It will be linked to the number it was ordered from until paid off fully.

Buy from Apple is the best way.
