Just a quick question regarding the iPhone 6. Will customers due an upgrade for their phone be given priority over pre-orders of the iphone 6?

We initially advised around two to three weeks, but our estimated delivery timescales are now up to six weeks.
I understand this is a long time to wait for your order, but several of our Customer Service agents have worsened the situation. Each time we have attempted to retry your order, an email is sent to you advising you the order is processing. This is because our request resends the order and if a phone is available, it will be sent to you.
Unfortunately due to popular demand, the stock levels are changing very quickly, meaning each time we've resent your order, no phone was available, placing you further back in the queue system. this may explain why some people have received their phone sooner than you
Reading this made me finally decide to do what a lot of others have done already. Cancelled my order with o2 direct and ordered through cpw. They didn't have the 64GB 6+ SG I ordered, but they had the 128GB. Paid 290 upfront, whereas before I paid 240. However with £25 cashback I think £25 is well worth it for an extra 64GB.

Omg that is an awful response!
Ive worked in customer services for over 10 years and that is just not an acceptable response!
On a positive note the 6+ is gorgeous, cant wait to start using it when i get home. Its like an Ipad mini mini!
Congrats on receiving yours - it's been a long wait - Enjoy

As long as people aren't too bothered about a Refresh contract this would seem the way to go. CPW must be rubbing their hands with glee.

And still no official response from O2, seems incredulous to me and contemptible from such a large organisation. Clearly O2 are not concerned with losing their long standing and up to this point, loyal customers.

I have had to laugh at this. It's like 02 are punishing you for having the audacity to use their helpline!!

THis is now ridiculous. I ordered on 19/9
It seems that the 64GB SG is the most in demand handset of the lot and if you ordered this you will wait a very long time.
I did not order this colour. They got it wrong. i wanted the Silver iphone 6 +
they say if they correct it i will go to the back of the queue.
They really do not seem to care about informing their customers as to what is going on!
If they were honest and gave you updates then we would be more forgiving.
on friday i was told the waiting time has now changed to 10 weeks! I went through to retentions to get a pack code and they then explained to me that the previous operator was wrong and 10 weeks was if we ordered today. The CS operator was ademant that my order was now 10 weeks!.

Okay so I have ordered 64GB SG iPhone 6 on 19/09/14 and still nothing.
According to business store, which I have an account with business, the Silver and Gold are in stock.
I am debating ringing to change from SG to either Silver or Gold - but is anyone waiting for 64GB iPhone 6 from Business at all so I know whether it's pointless or not?
I have spoke to LC CS a few times and CS over the phone who advise that the business and consumer stock is different...
