Just a quick question regarding the iPhone 6. Will customers due an upgrade for their phone be given priority over pre-orders of the iphone 6?

I went down to CPW today and they had the 64GB in silver in stock, so I rang o2 to cancel my upgrade order. I have now got a new contract with CPW and have been told by O2 CS to call them tommorow to transfer my number over to my new sim/contract.
Having already paid a small amount to upgrade to a refresh tariff one month earlier than my free upgrade, I asked if I would have to pay the one month line rental I owe in full - the CS guy said no. So, I'm told when I transfer my number over tommorow, that my old contract will 'cease'. I was told not to use the word 'terminate' otherwise they would just cancel my old contract and I would lose my number.
I did ask how long it would take for my refund for the phone I ordered from o2, but they couldn't tell me.
For anyone in a similar situation who is thinking of going down the CPW route, I will update in a few days with what happens.
For what its worth, the iphone 6 feels and looks amazing.

Have also cancelled my order SG 64gb 19/09. Went to local O2 shop - they didn't have the model I want but they had silver instead. Offered to hold the phone for me until tomorrow when my cancellation goes through.

The stores have major problems and have no idea when they are getting stock in (or at least Denton, Manchester anyway).
I ordered my 64gb SG on the 24/9 and was due on the 7/10. Guess what? Not got it and no idea when its coming!

So you haven't upgraded, you have taken out a new contract. You need to contact O2 customer service to sort this out on 202, don't use webchat.
