Check your current sim or pop in store with photo ID.

Most micro SIMs can be converted into Nano SIMs by pushing out the smaller center of the card. Otherwise your best option is to take your phone and some photo ID to an O2 Shop, they will swap the number across to the new SIM also. If you choose to order one from O2 on the helpline, you will find O2 will disconnect your old SIM until you get the new SIM, which is not ideal - go to an O2 Shop is my advice. Good luck, @PAJC.

My SIM is rather old, one that I kept alive by phoning it at intervals. There is no pop-out feature for it to be changed from micro to nano size. I cannot pop-in to an O2 store because they are closing at an alarming rate. So, I was asking whether O2 will send me a replacement SIM with the same number but nano size. If so, whom do I contact and on what number?

Hopefully O2 won't 'accidently' change your tariff

They will however disconnect your sim when they send you a new one so you will be without a phone for a few days

That's why a store is the best bet, they will change it there and then for you
