MY O2 app not working correctly

Hi, I'm trying to get information about using my phone is the USA. The first issue is that the app doesn't recognise my IMEI numbers (start with 86872506), and neither does the Web interface, although I used the phone successfully on a trip to Budapest in December. The second is that the app starts and shows some pages but if I try to drill down, such as trying to access "Your extras", I get a message saying "something went wrong" and that I have no connection, but through the Web interface I can see that I have O2 Travel and O2 Travel Inclusive Zone.

I'm using a Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G. This has just received the HyperOS upgrade and its release number is 1.0.1.0.UMOEUXM.

These could be HyperOS artifacts, but may not be.

Has anyone else had problems like these recently.

Travel inclusive gives you free use in USA.

USA - Roaming with O2

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:

Don't worry about IMEI numbers in My O2.

When I changed handsets it took them four months to catch up

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

I am getting exactly the same. Could log in to my o2 the other day but tried today and it says my account isn’t ready for my o2 yet. When I log in online it doesn’t have any of my tariff info or billing etc. only o2 Wi-Fi

Try logging in on the web at :-

https://mymobile.o2.co.uk/

Alternatively, at the top of this page, click on the MyO2 link :-

If that works, uninstall the app, reboot your device and reinstall it.

If the web route doesn't work, you'll need to call Customer Service on 202, or on 4445 if you are a PAYG customer :-
