finding the balance on asha 300

i am having difficulty finding the balance on my mobile.I do not have a place  MY MOBILE on my phone ,and every time i try and find the balance i get a flash that my balance has gone down,does this happen when i use the photos and music.

Can you help.

Normally on a P&G phone it is a preset using speed dial 2 but sometimes you have to programme it yourself.

Dial *#10# for a balance text.

Yes your balance will go down if you don't have allowances. You can get your balance anytime by dialing *#10# or call 20202.

many thanks now I know that *#10# will give me the balance ,then why is this not available clearly on the phone.

Many thanks .Allowances what are they???? I have had a nokia for over some 12 years and recently my 3210 packed up. With this . basic unit I was able to use 901.customer service,view calls received and sent and delete these .This did not cost me anything ,am I now getting charged for these?????

You will be getting charged, I guess, because your phone is connecting to data - Something that the 3210 couldn't do. If you go into your settings and turn off any data connections it will prevent this from happening.

You will however be charged for calling voicemail as this isn't included in any P&G tariff.
