Pay Monthly to PAYG

Anonymous
Not applicable

I have been told I need to get a new sim to move from Monthly to PAYG.

My contract has ended so no problems there, can somebody verify this is true, as i thought as long as it a SIM card was from the same provider they where all the same.

Thanks in advance

Yes you do.
The cards are different as you have been told already.

You need a new sim. You can pick one up for free in any O2 store or order one online and choose your tariff.

You need to make sure you have ended your contract and ask them to transfer your number to a payandgo sim if you want to keep it.

Why?
Because you need a new sim card?

If you're leaving O2 and want to keep your number you need to ask customer service for your PAC. You will need to do this before the end of your contract.

Please don't cancel any direct debit until you've received the final bill.
