Due an upgrade but don't want to increase monthly cost - help with negotiating?

Hi

So I'm due an upgrade.  I currently have the Samsung Galaxy S2 from ages ago now it seems.  I'd quite like an IPhone (I think).  Haven't had one before.

Anyhow my dilema is this...I currently pay around £27 all in each month on my plan which I don't go over, I don't particularly want to pay for a handset, I've been with O2 forever.  Are they likely to bend the current offer to keep a loyal customer?  It looks like they'll give a free Iphone 5 to anyone on a £37 per month tarriff (far too high for me and my consumption).

Help? (thanks)

All you can do is call 202 and ask, or try upgrading through carphonewarehouse who sometimes offer better deals.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Have you seen the Flash Sale, they offering a Sony Xperia Z for £27 a month and the phone is free.

The offer ends today and it's on the home page.

You'll probably find that you can get a far better deal for another Android phne than you will for an iPhone.

But definitley call 202 and ask the question, one of my friends was able to keep her VERY low monthly tarrif last year AND get a free new BlackBerry Curve purely because she called up and asked the question! Give it a go!

Seems a good offer, 600 minutes and 750Mb data.

Last day at that price!
