Can I put my Contract on hold?

I have a monthly contract but am not using it while I am away for a while, is there a way of putting my contract on hold until I am back in the UK or to bring the price down to a very minimum?

No I'm afraid not. To my knowledge O2 will only put a contract on hold for military personnel who are off to war.

Is there any way a family member you trust could take the contract over for you?

If not then settling your existing contract yourself...or continuing to pay are your only options.

If you were on a sim only contract you could reduce to a 30 day one...

I did ask if there was a trustworthy family member who could maybe take this over for you whilst you were away?

Use Tugo over Wifi or unlock the phone to use Tugo with data from a local sim card.
You can still use your UK allowances but it will cost you nothing.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
