Will any texts sent to my sim whilst it was blocked be received by my new, activated sim now?

Anonymous
Not applicable

I had my phone stolen on saturday, and had it blocked later the same day. I received a new micro sim with the same number yesterday and sometime last night/this morning it became activated. I just wanted to know whether any texts sent to me will be received as I have asked 2 o2 gurus and one said yes but the other said no because my sim wasn't on the network, so a bit confused! thanks slight_smile

In theory with it still being the same number, yes. The network will not have received a "delivered" notification so will continue to try to send until it does. No guarantee you'll get every single text (if there are many) but you should get most of them.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
