when is the new android OS being rolled out?

I have a samsung galaxy S4 mini on pay monthly with O2 and was wondering when the latest android update was being rolled out? Let me know if you require any further info.

4.4.4 is the latest official build from Android OS. It mainly addresses issues for their own series of handsets though.

Any available update that is available for your phone will show up in the update section of your handset.

Unfortunately if your phone is O2 branded then it's up to the network to check any version out before releasing it.

 i currently have android version 4.2.2 and i think its the kitkat update im wanting. not to sure what the version numbers were off the top of my head 😕

That is the latest if you are on an O2 branded phone.

@Chris_K who works for O2 might have more info about O2 firmware updates than we do.

i got my phone from an O2 Store in southampton so im guessing that means its O2 branded.

 

Any idea on when O2 will be releasing it?
