I don't know what is going on here and I'm not sure I believe it, but a thread has appeared elsewhere saying that O2 Webmail will be closing at the end of the year according to an O2 Web Chat advisor.

Maybe Chiara could check this out as people using this service may need to make other arrangements.

@Toby

I notice that it says the contacts will be deleted too.

Will this mean that the contacts used for the web text facility will be deleted too, since the contacts seems to be shared between the email facility and the web text facility?

I haven't had an email from O2 yet, apart from monthly bills.

Have you migrated away from O2 Broadband yet? If yes, when did you migrate?

You can't really complain to use a free email service for your business may not have been a wise idea and there will be no comeback on this.

The email service was never a part of your mobile agreement.

I agree perksie.

The only safe thing to do for a business is to use your own domain name for an email address. Free providers can kill their service whenever they like, as is their right.

You need to buy your own email address now. Have a look at 123-reg for instance.
