nokia bluetooth to pavilion dv7

Anonymous
Not applicable

I am having problems with bluetooth I am  not able to transfer data either way, laptop (Pavilion dv7) to 'phone (Nokia 113)  or 'phone to laptop. My laptop has recognised my 'phone & the 'phone has recognised the laptop. Why can I not do a transfer? The data in question was a photograph, is there a size limit or is there no limit?

That all depends on what you want to use BT for, but in your case, No....

You are limited to certain types of files depending on what version of bluetooth you have.

How do I find out? Or more to the point how can I pair them? From what I have seen they have been paired, but just are not 'talking' to each other.

The Nokia 113 only has BT v2.1 which is only capable of transmitting voice to a headset or connecting to a car stereo head unit. There is no FTP available on devices running anything lower than v3.0
