Hello,

I have  Nokia Lumia 610 running WP7.8 on O2 PayAndGo.

In the last week I have been unable to send or receive texts.

Can anyone suggest what the problem may be?

Hi @Johnaldo

Check network status first http://status.o2.co.uk/

Also text Active to 2020 save the settings and reboot the phone...

Thanks for the quick reply!

I just checked the network status and there's no problems.

I can't text "Active", because I can't send texts!

Try removing and cleaning the sim card or get it swapped at your local o2 store. It could be a network issue that they don't yet know about.

Sometimes just switching the phone off/on can sort problems out.

I've tried cleaning the Sim and rebooting the phone, but it made no difference.

And I've checked the message centre settings, and they are correct.

The SIM was brand new and only in use for 2 or 3 weeks before the problem began, so unlikely to be that.

I don't know if it's a coincidence but I experienced the problems after receiving my first picture message (MMS is it?) ... could that be relevant?
