Unfortunately you probably know that the only information O2 publish is when the update is actually released. We very rarely get advanced warning.

Not to mention the Android runtime upgrade to 4.2
Hopefully O2 won't drag their heels with this one, but I won't be holding my breath.

Apart from the obvious splash screens I don't see a difference between my Z10 and the bosses Vodafone one so I guess not, but they do sometimes hold back updates under the auspices of 'testing'.
You're not affected by such things of course being an Apple user

Two things I love about BB10...
Blackberry HUB - going back to iOS or Android is going to be a pain for this main reason, jumping between a FB, Twitter, Messaging, Email app etc is just time consuming and uneccessary. Having everything available in one location is just amazing and makes keeping up to date with everything going on my life is a breeze.
User Interface - swiping, peeking and flowing just make so much sense and after a little while has you trying the same gestures on every phone.
Down side - Apps; there is a major lack of mainstreem apps in comparison with iOS, Android and WP and the obscene amount of Android ports it feels as though developers just do not care for the benefits of the OS and just chance their luck at a few extra penies of revenue with their existing apps from the Google platform.
