"When is Marshmallow gonna be available on the Z3? It's been out on other phones for a long while now."
Beats me why people with no patience don't all buy a Nexus

I don't understand the urgent need when users probably notice next to nothing has changed.

Beats me why people still don't fully understand the difference between nexus and Samsung/Sony/LG etc etc.
So many tweets, posts and messages always say "6.0 released months ago, what you playing at..."

There are a couple of important changes @jonsie that I find useful. One is the 'Doze' feature, which really helps battery life.
The other is more control of app permissions. When users eventually get Marshmallow, this is a good guide on how to use it:

Depends on how many tablets or phones go 4k this year...
Mainly for most current phones, app permission overhaul as bambino said.
Lots of security updates protecting users from aware and spyware as well as stopping apps harvesting data behind a seemingly innocent permission on install.
Better battery optimisation for Google services and background running apps.
Visually tho, not much difference
