I've got a HP it's always been reliable, and is still a good workhorse!

My gf, has a professional version and that one is amazing even after a couple of years slogging through the business accounts!

I'm short, HP would be my choice.

I'd say HP as well, my reason being that I've had toshibas before & they don't seem to last very long

We have both in our family....Mine at home is HP (as is my tablet) Husband has a Toshiba.(also good but the keyboard is a pain to replace)... Oh and the one I am using here in Spain is also a Toshiba....which in fairness has been a good old workhorse....Dance

For what it's worth I always buy HP - In my opinion you can't go far wrong.
