I don't mind BBM but the principle of the PIN number is cumbersome and a pain.

I abandoned its use a week after downloading it I'm afraid.

BBM is handy for me as quite a few friends here have it in preference to WhatsApp.

$16 Billion, well $4 Billion outright then the current value of facebook shares for the remainder and another $3 Billion after 3 years. Could have bought Blackberry outright and get a hardware division thrown in with change! That infamous FaceBook/OS phone would have been a reality and could still write it off as a loss.

Given history of tech take overs, this is going be a brand that will merge into FB and disappear within a few years. Either way, if FB shares drop its an expensive mistake and they will be seeking to monetise it asap once the instuitional shareholders start making noises.

Signs of a bubble again in the tech industry with the mobile app market overvaluing companies. Cue the makers of Candy Crush saga not learning from Zynga's mistakes and doing an IPO.
