im wanting to move to a new provider and my 02 contract is fully paid off, is there anything I need to do? I have nothing else to pay on my contract so do I need to tell them I'm not renewing?

Just to add, you will get a final bill a month after you port out your number, so leave your direct debit in place to avoid issues with paying it.
