Why doesnt the my o2 app have touch id support? It seems silly to have to type in a 4 digit pin when so many other apps have adopted the system

All apps with a modicum of security require you to sign in via typing your pin or a password.

Doesn't bother me that I have to type a pin, it's not that big of a deal is it?

given that fingerprint scanning is (for phones) relatively new it probably hasn't been coded into the my02 app yet...

Considering the implications of and how easy it is to bypass touch ID a second level of security should be welcomed.

^^^ that too!!

on a (somewhat) related note, aren't some devices now including iris scanning as well as/instead of fingerprint?

going to need encryption on phones to store biometric data soon!!

Some of the Chinese phones have it already (although I'm not sure how well it works).
