If I have an o2 apple watch monthly contract and I wanted to give it to my partner who has an EE contract iphone, does it need to be unlocked like a mobile phone or can he just connect it straight to his EE mobile

The apple watch is the Apple Watch Ultra 2 gps + Cellular 49mm Titanium case.

You need to pay off the watch and disconnect it from your account first, then it can be used elsewhere.
