Have you tried calling CS to discuss why the dates changed?

Unfortunately your post is not clear if you are pay and go or pay monthly,but because you already got information about pay and go,I'm gonna go with pay monthly, to cover all options.
A change of the billing date that you haven't requested ,by changing your DD date,will more than likely be an upgrade or a tariff transfer that was put trough straight away. Have you done any of those?
