Home dashboard  `What you have got left' - no. of days please nice O2 team : )

Just joined O2 from giffgaff (hi all) and first thought when look at my app or web dashboard is that where it says `What you have got left' it would be really useful in the same part of the screen to have a countdown of the number of days you have left until next months bundle starts. I could work it out but that's not intuative. You could go further and have average per day left but I think that is prob a little too far / too much info.

`What you have got left'

  • data
  • minutes
  • text
  • days

Simple, clear and informative.

Cheers slight_smile

David

Home dashboard idea - update

I have  been using O2 now for about a month. I think in additional to clearly showing number of days left to run on your months allowance, it would be really useful to have the data used on average per day and the average per day left. That will help you manage usage much more efficiently.

Example

20GB allowance 30 days (contracted)

  • 15 GB used 17 days = average used 0.88GB/day
  • 5 GB left 13 days = average left 0.38GB/day

Presentation could be better but what you get is a very easy simple tool that says you need to reduce data consumption on average per day otherwise will exceed allowance, or you may need to buy an add on later in the month.

It could be the other way around where you plenty data left and think hey I'll watching a bit if TV. Maybe the new Robot Wars which starts this Sunday ; )

Texts and minutes less important as data is where you get hit most on additional cost

Hope this helps

It does tell you what you have left so whilst it is a good idea I doubt O2 will implement it.

It's the average per day that's the key slight_smile
