Solved: Unlocking a used iPhone 3G form ebay

Okay, so i purchaced this iPhone 3G from ebay all reset and ready to go but there is one issue, i dont have any O2 sim cards and it is Locked to O2 how do i get around sim lock before activation if thats even possible.

Update: Turns out you can get free O2 sim cards, i didnt look hard enough i guess.
