emergency cintact via lockscreen

Anonymous
Not applicable

I have a MotoG and on the lockscreen there is the option to make an emergency call (i.e. to 999 or equivelant) without unlocking the phone.

Is there any way of accessing (and ideally calling) emergency contact details from the lockscreen?

Slide up up the call button from lockscreen and you will see four greyed out buttons at the top which you can assign each one to a contact.
Once set the next time you slide up the emergency call button it will allow only calls to contacts you have set there.

Nope, this doesn't happen. I "slide up" the call button from the lock screen it shows me a single button labelled "emergency call" that takes me to a call screen which only allows entry of 999 or similar. Hitting back only takes you back to the standard unlock screen. There are no other buttons, greyed out or otherwise except for the unlock pad.

That's how moto have set it up then so I guess it can't be changed.
Samsung have it so you can assign a contact but I'll check later on another phone I have running nexus software.

Just checked Moto G manual and it will only bring up a keyboard that will allow you to dial 999, 911 or 112.
