Not seen it mentioned elsewhere so appologies if it is but my "on loan" O2 Z1 has updated to kitkat today.

Most noticeable visual changes are to lockscreen, notifications screen and shortcut toggles, plus a new CM inspired battery gauge.

All in all some nice touches - Not had to factory reset and no glitches seen, yet.....

Currently using:

Perhaps someone could help me with this update. After it had finished, my internet and some apps no longer work on wifi. I have removed the sim and cleaned it and tried turning it on and off. On the internet, i get a message along the lines of 'unable to connect to the proxy server'. Any ideas?

Go to Settings >More >Mobile Networks >Access Point Names and click on the one with the blue dot next to it (O2 Mobile Web).
Click on the line that says "Proxy" then delete the entry.
Press the 3 dots top right of the screen and select "save".
Reboot the phone and try again.

Is it an O2 phone, sim free or unlocked from another network?
