Hi Folks

Looking to change my phone within the next few weeks, been looking at both the S6 edge and the Xperia Z3, I know they are world appart in terms of price, but what would you guys recommend? I'd be interested to hear from owners of either or anyone who has experience of both...

In the past I have owned an Xperia Z1 and am currently using an iPhone.

Many thanks 🙂

I think you'll find that irregardless of price, opinions will be worlds apart too. @viridis is an Xperia user and pundit on the forum, and @Anonymous is a very knowledgeable iPhone user. Let's see what they have to say. wink

I would have said the S6 Edge. Confirmed now that our Sony expert @viridis has also gone with it

All I'm saying is, there's a reason Sony decided to only release the Z4 in home (loyal) territories.
The losses on a worldwide release of Z4 would be huge.
For this year and into next, the S6 range is, and you can quote me just as I said on this very forum in January, untouchable in regards to design and tech. It IS the phone to have in 2015.

The only thing I'd say about the latest iPhones is that they have varied large screens which will help with reading & clumsy fingers, the iPhone 6 is 4.7 inches & the 6 Plus is 5.5 inches & now you have customisable keyboards & upto date software but if it's a choice of these 2 particular phones then I would say S6 Edge

You wouldn't notice too much difference between your previous Z1 to the Z3, but they are a very nice phone both to hold and in looks.
