Hi,

I have been unable to receive or make calls and texts from 2pm today.

I read an article online that o2 networks are down today. 

When will this be resolved? As I urgently need my phone to work.

Unfortunatley I can't. May have to go into an o2 shop tomorrow to try and resolve this.

Hi, Thanks I have already checked this and it says that 

'Our network is currently working fine
If we're doing work on the phone masts near you we'll tell you about it here.
Updated 20:01 (refreshed hourly). Recent faults might not show yet'.
 
Yet my phone says emergency calls only and I still cannot send text messages since earlier today.

That page is the only information that is availiable to the customer o2 may know something more but I doubt it you could try ringing them from a landline:

Have you tried taking your SIM out and giving it a wipe - give that a go and if that doen't help, try restarting your handset.
