NO PHONE SIGNAL!!!!

Can someone help? I do not have any signal on my samsung galaxy mini and have to make calls outside, even then i only have two bars of signal. The coverage apparently in my area is good in and out doors. Why is my signal so poor. Even when i am out and about in other areas the signal is weak. I have even sat next to someone else with O2 and their signal is excellent when i have none!! What is the problem??

O2 have a repair service but we suggest using the manufacturer.

Hi.

Also try turning your phone off and on to reboot it.

Sometimes this soft reset can help.

And in extreme cases a hard reset but do make a back up first.

Try your sim in another phone to rule out a faulty sim. Process of elimination.

If it is the phone then contacting the manufacturer for a diagnostic check can help. This is done by contacting them on their uk support page.

Although if it's happening elsewhere it could be a phone or SIM card fault I would try getting a new sim first as it's free
