My Phone has froze!

somebody please help! Ive been having problems with my sony xperia "p" for the past few months so I called 02 today and they advised me to back up & reset factory setting.... so i did this. 

I have since put my sim card back in and turned it on but the screen is just staying on the 02 logo with the back light on.... i can even get it to turn off, what can i do? PLease help x

Try this option, the soft reset:

Press and hold the ‘Volume Up' key and the ‘Power' key, for five to ten seconds.
Wait for your device to vibrate
As soon as you feel the vibration, release the keys. The phone should then reboot.
