Hello all. I've just joined the o2 community to try and help my friend get wifi calling. I am on o2 sim only pay monthly with a Samsung S21A phone. I am able to get wifi calling and when i check my o2 account under "more" wifi & 4G calling, in bold letters it says "You have wifi & 4G calling turned on". However; my friend who has just joined o2 has very poor signal area and I suggested switching on wifi calling; however the switch in her phone (same make & model as mine) does not show and when we check her Myo2 account under "more" wifi & 4G calling is not shown as turned on, like as in my account. I have confirmed there is no problem with her phone by putting my sim into it, then the wifi calling switch becomes available. We have contacted o2 customer services 202 but no one seems able to help and get the problem to the correct department; despite o2 own web pages stating it needs to be set up by them. I don't know if any one can PLEASE PLEASE help get this activated by o2, failing which it is going to be pointless being with them. Sorry it's long winded but have tried to explain problem as best i can. THANKS, socketman.

@socketman You must have spoken to a customer service rep who doesn't know what they're talking about.

You need to contact customer service to have them enable WiFi calling on their end.

Wifi and 4G Calling explained | O2

Call 202 from your mobile or 0344 809 0202, or 0800 032 1402
When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say 'Upgrade', 'Lost/Stolen', or 'Fraud' if the suggestion above doesn't get you through.
Best time to call is 8 am.

If you can't switch it on via My O2 then it has to be done by O2, I'm afraid.

We no longer have anyone from O2 here so you will have to keep at them.

Although it is a simple procedure their end it seems some agents have difficulty.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
