Anyone else getting frustrated with the lack of info for note 4 release date on O2. Come on O2 give us a clue, sick of seeing all the apple comments when what we want is a real phone 😄

I could be wrong but I would hazard a guess that the O2 stores that have Note 4 stock could be franchised. I see no other reason why some stores are clueless as to when they will have stock.

It would seem that O2 now have no relationship with any of the major phone manufacturers. Dire shortage this year of iphones (worst ever launch!), no Blackberries, no Note 4 launch and 'special deal' on the Amazon Fire. A network in severe decline? My guess would be yes.

I am sure I heard similar thoughts elsewhere wink

I cannot remember the last time, if ever, this many different negative factors have accumulated within o2,
No knowledge of incoming stock to stores.
Orders unfulfilled
Breakdown of the order system.
Misinformation to the near point of lies.
No pre orders on flagships
No stock knowledge
It goes on.
I severely hope the Telefonica bod sit down and take a hard look at recent operations

Yippee got my Note 4 in white, very pleased with it, can't have too much of a play until I finish work but pleased to simply have it in my hands.

First Impressions are very good, phone looks the part, love the metal frame, screen is stunning and well made, feels like it's really thick.

One small bummer is it's o2 branded, so when I get home I'll be downloading stock btu firmware and flashing.

My other issue is for me to debrand I would need the phone unlocking, are o2 able to provide me unlocking code? or is their something I can try myself to unlock the phone? I think it needs unlocking before I flash stock firmware, once firmware is flashed I'll need to perform a factory reset to complete the debranding, I think the facotry reset removes the o2 sales code in the phone.

If you're on contract you should have no problem with O2 unlocking it. Glad you have your hands on it slight_smile

Imperative that you unlock first.....

I'm seriously NOT happy with o2. I was told yesterday they would be selling the note 4 today & to ring at 8am, its now 10.30am and still no sign. If its not sorted by my 1.30pm lunch time, I might see if EE want to help me switch & stuff with o2. Done the online chat about 30 minutes ago & they had no idea.
