Solved: Smashed iPhone

Hi, my son is due for an upgrade. He has came home tonight, his phone is completely smashed, his life is on his phone, is there a way he can still transfer his stuff from his old phone to a new one? Thanks

Assuming he has his iCloud back up turned on everything will transfer automatically to another iPhone.
