Text messages I haven't sent trigger O2Travel

Just queried 2x£4.99 charges for O2 Travel using Live Chat to be told I have sent single text messages on 2 separate days, the most recent being yesterday.

I know for a fact I haven't knowingly text anyone since arriving on holiday and data roaming is all switched off.

Any one else had similar problems or any ideas?

They have now cancelled my O2 Travel and are investigating!

No, never had a problem with it at all from a billing point of view.

O2 travel is free in my contract and includes data roaming calls and texts so its worth keeping depending what tariff you are on, have a look on MYO2 and see what bolt on's you have.  As i say depending what tariff you are on it could be free, last year it was only £1.99 a day if i used air time, text or data.  So worth looking in to.

It's only free on some of the new iPhone tariffs.

Sometimes it may be a device issue. The best workaround to forbid the phone from sending messages is to change to a wrong SMSC.
