If you do move then use a PAC Code to retain your mobile number and please ensure you get good signal by the other network by trying out their PAYG sims for a while where you live, work and commute.
Perhaps buying a phone from somewhere like CEX to tide you over until your contract is fulfilled.
A better deal is nice but worthless if you cant use it properly !

Yes, you can pay off your contract early.
If you login to My O2, it will tell you how much you will need to pay to end your contract early. Alternatively call O2 and ask them how much it will be.
