Make sure battery is fully charged then try holding vol down + power key together.

Hi,

Has anything happened recently for this to happen.

have you just updated to a new frmware

Try another charging cord.

Try hooking up to your pc and use pc companion.

Or maybe a hard reset.

What have you tried thus far ?

Another avenue is http://www.htc.com/uk/support/ and ask the manufacturer.

no unlocked this mirning to make a phone call and  then switched off  and cant switch it back on

If you connect it to your computer with a USB cable is it recognised by the computer at all ?

put on charger and tried to switch on but wont and holding down vol+swich on button together nothing happens

If this turns out to be a hardware issue then you will need to use the link I've inserted.

Try them before o2 repairs as they know their hardware better.
