@kosi Don't know where you're hearing that from. See this guide: Roaming on O2 - All you need to know - O2 Community

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

On contract, sure. On PAYG, not a chance - not even 5G at home, currently. Other networks offer all speeds anywhere, but charge for roaming - not O2, @kosi.

@kosi

Personally, I've never seen 5g when roaming.

It may just be a mythical unicorn.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

The only countries I have seen 5G roaming is Spain and Germany but I wonder why?? Thinks its because o2 / Telefonica operate in those countries.....

If you have a pay monthly sim then you will get 5G roaming, and ISP Review is full of geeks like me, so if they have had it or seen it, like I have then it works..

If on PAYG then you will never see 5G in the UK or Roaming until when the pigs fly they turn on 5G for PAYG customers.
