5g pay monthly sim and download expectations for new user

brand new to 02 so please accept my apologies for any noob questions.

can new 5g pay monthly sims be used in routers temporarily if needed without any restrictions on download speeds.?

also what are the best theoretical achievable speeds on 02 if I was directly next to an 02 mast ?

Phone sims cannot be used in routers. You need a data only sim for those.

Speeds will vary from area to area and depends on many factors, so no one can say but it should be noted that O2 is usually slower in comparison to other networks.
